While dogs enjoy plenty of socialisation and fun at Doggi, we differ from a traditional doggy daycare. We offer a range of training services, including our Day Program and Drive Program, which are structured day training experiences built around dog behaviour and psychology. Our programs focus on understanding and fulfilling each dog’s individual needs through a balance of guided socialisation, movement, training, structured rest, and plenty of fun, while building calm, confident behaviour. We don’t just provide care for the day — everything we do has purpose behind it, with the goal of supporting your dog’s behaviour and wellbeing.

At Doggi, we take a relationship-based and holistic approach to dog training. We believe training starts with understanding your dog — how they communicate, what they need, and why they behave the way they do — so you can build a stronger relationship and work together more effectively. We look at the whole dog, including their breed, genetics, diet, sleep, exercise, environment, and individual needs. By considering all of these factors, we can better understand behaviour and create meaningful, lasting change while supporting your dog’s overall wellbeing.

We use a range of training equipment depending on your dog’s individual needs. Our most commonly used tools include slip leads and crates, with other equipment introduced where appropriate. We’re always transparent about the tools we use, why we use them, and how they support your dog’s training. Where relevant, we’ll also show you how to use equipment safely and confidently so you can continue supporting your dog at home.

The best place to start will depend on your dog, their individual needs, and what you’re looking to get out of training. Some dogs may be ready to complete an Assessment Day for one of our programs, while others may benefit from Private Training first. If you’re unsure where to begin, please reach out and tell us a little about your dog, what you’re experiencing, and what you’d like to achieve together. Our team can recommend the most suitable service and help guide you on the best place to start.

Absolutely! We welcome puppies from the moment they come home. Starting training early helps build confidence, encourage positive socialisation, and provide important exposure during their critical period. The earlier your puppy starts, the better.

Every dog is different, and meaningful behaviour change takes time, consistency, and involvement from both you and your dog. At Doggi, we provide the training, guidance, and support to help you better understand your dog, build important foundations, and create positive change. Because you spend the most time with your dog, what happens outside of Doggi is just as important as the work we do together. Our goal is to give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to continue building on your dog’s training at home, while supporting and guiding you along the way.

Yes. We work with dogs experiencing a range of behavioural challenges, including reactivity, lead pulling, separation anxiety, overexcitement, and more. Every dog is different, so the type and level of support we recommend will depend on your dog’s individual needs. For some dogs, this may mean starting with one-on-one training before progressing into one of our programs or other services. If you’re unsure where to start, please reach out and tell us a little about your dog and the challenges you’re experiencing. Our team can help recommend the most appropriate service and next steps.

Not at all. You don’t need to be experiencing a behavioural challenge to benefit from training at Doggi. Many of our clients simply want to better understand their dog, strengthen their relationship, build practical skills, or provide their dog with fun, fulfilling experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Our services are designed to meet you and your dog where you’re at and support you along the way.
