The Story Behind Doggi

Doggi was founded in Paddington by Laura — someone who once felt exactly how many dog owners feel today. Confused, overwhelmed, and searching for answers that actually made sense.

With so much information out there, Doggi was created to make dog training make sense.

What began as a passion for understanding her own dogs has grown into a trusted destination for dogs and their people — a community of dog lovers committed to helping their dogs live life to the fullest, in a safe, supportive space where dogs can learn, grow, and thrive.

Four years on, we're incredibly proud of the community that has grown with Doggi and the hundreds of dogs and their humans we have helped live better lives together.

Our Approach

We take a holistic, relationship-based approach to training. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, we look at the bigger picture of how you and your dog live together, and build from there. The goal is a calm, confident dog you can take anywhere, and a life together that feels good for both of you.

Meet Laura

Doggi Founder

Laura is the founder of Doggi, a dedicated dog mum to Mickey the Papillon, and someone who has spent years deepening her knowledge of dog behaviour and psychology through study, hands-on experience, and real-world results.

Her journey began over ten years ago with her own dogs. Winnie, a Cocker Spaniel rescued at just 10 months old, came to her with severe behavioural issues. Working through those challenges sparked a deep passion for understanding dog behaviour and psychology — and a realisation that so many owners were in the same position, with nowhere to turn that truly made sense.

Meet Eliza

PACK LEADER

A lifelong lover of animals, Eliza joined the Doggi team over three years ago while completing a Bachelor of Economics. What began as a role during university quickly grew into a career, where she discovered a genuine passion for working with dogs and helping their owners better understand them.

Eliza brings a thoughtful and practical approach to her work as a dog trainer and Assistant Manager, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of Doggi across operations, administration, and social media. She has since completed further training with some of the world's leading dog behaviourists, including travelling to the USA to train with Samantha Johnson of Pack Life LA.

Outside of Doggi, she is a proud sister to Pedro, a 13-year-old Miniature Fox Terrier, and Tiger, a 17-year-old tabby cat — and mum to Cowboy, her Chihuahua rescue.

    PACK ASSISTANT

Andy spent much of her working life as a pastry chef before making a career change into the dog industry a few years ago. She brings valuable life experience, a strong work ethic, and a warm nature to the Doggi team.

Andy is a proud dog mum to Scooby, her Great Dane — who is famously bigger than she is. Living with a giant breed gives her firsthand understanding of the importance of structure, training, and meeting a dog's needs in everyday life.

    PACK ASSISSTANT

Bringing over three years of hands-on experience as a vet nurse, Molly is a valued member of the Doggi team. Her background gives her a strong understanding of dog health, wellbeing, and a holistic approach to behaviour.

We first met Molly and her Golden Retriever, Arlie, when they came to us as Doggi clients while Arlie was still a puppy. It quickly became clear that both Molly and Arlie had a natural talent for training — and the rest is history.

Known for her sense of style, Molly also helps with Doggi's social media content.

  • Monique, a pack assistant from Doggi

    Meet Monique

    PACK ASSISSTANT

Monique is one of the friendly faces who helps out behind the scenes at Doggi. Reliable, hardworking, and always ready to help, she is known for her love of cleaning — something we highly value around here.

Currently completing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Monique brings a practical and thoughtful approach to everything she does.

And while she loves dogs, Monique is a proud cat lady and mum to Harry, her British Shorthair.
