Our Walk & Train service is a 60-minute structured training walk, delivered by the Doggi team in your dog’s own neighbourhood — where real distractions and learning opportunities exist.
What’s included
Each 60-minute session is tailored to your dog and may include:
Lead manners and loose lead walking
Long-line work to build connection and engagement
Play based training (tug and engagement games)
Neutrality and confidence building around distractions and triggers
Real time work through whatever arises on the walk, including reactivity

Your first session
For the first Walk & Train session, the owner must be present for a meet and greet.
This allows us to:
Meet you and your dog
Assess behaviour, handling, and environment
Confirm safe access procedures
Set clear training goals
Owners do not need to be home for ongoing sessions
Doggi Terms & Conditions must be signed prior to commencing your first walk.

No. You only need to be present for the first session. After that, as long as safe access has been arranged or keys provided, you do not need to be home.

No. Walk & Train is a training session, not a casual walk. Every walk is structured, intentional, and focused on improving behaviour, connection, engagement, and lead skills.

We work your dog through real-world situations at their level, using structure, distance, connection and engagement to build calm responses over time.

We work with puppies from as young as 8 weeks of age and encourage you to start young. The earlier the better to enforce good behaviour, exposure to the world and learn about leash skills. If your puppy is not fully vaccinated we can do the walk & train on your property.

No your dog does not need to be desexed to participate in walk and trains.

Doggi provides all required training equipment, including slip leads, figure 9 leads and long lines. If your dog uses specific equipment, this can be discussed at the meet & greet.

Walk & Trains works best alongside private training or a position in the Doggi program. It reinforces skills in real-life environments but does not replace owner education.

Walk & trains can be booked Monday to Friday 6.30am to 6.30pm via Pet Manager. Weekend walks will be assessed on application.

We offer balanced and relationship based training with a focus on connection, behaviour and psychology first, and obedience second.

Our walk and trains are a great foundation for setting new behaviour. However to see best results, leadership, structure and exercise will need to be continued at home.

Walk & trains must be booked on a weekly basis for best results and consistency. Dogs must have at least one walk booked per week.

Walk & Train is available within a 2km radius of Doggi. Services outside of this radius may be assessed and priced on an individual basis.

In line with Doggi’s Terms & Conditions, all cancellations must be made prior to 24 hours before your service. After that, full fee is payable.

We will do our best to have the same trainer walk your dog. However due to staff rostering & other commitments this may not always be possible. We promise all our trainers are equally amazing!
