In Home Lifestyle & Dog Behavioural Sessions Brisbane

Does your dog have separation anxiety or do they pull on their lead? Are they struggling to make dog friends? Perhaps they don't respond to your commands or have become unruly in your home. Well you are not alone!

Behavioural issues are so common in the community, particularly with more owners working from home more than ever. Often owners don’t know how to effectively communicate with their dog or read their body language which results in the dog becoming frustrated and unbalanced.

Laura is not your average dog trainer. A lifestyle session takes place in your home. You will go over a lot of information in your session and you will receive a written report after to keep. We chat about everything from feeding, walking, sleeping arrangements, separation anxiety, sibling syndrome, crate training, place work, socialisation and any other behavioural challenges you may be having. There is no quick fix for a behavioural problem and everything is connected which is why we address your dog's whole lifestyle rather than just the problem.

Laura will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to fulfil your dog for life. Laura uses a balanced training approach which emphases dogs instinctual behaviour through pack leadership.

Laura has been trained by one of the world’s best dog behaviourists, Cheri Wulf Lucas in the USA. She undertook an intense, hands on, five day program with Cheri where they worked on rehabilitating unbalanced behaviour in dogs.

Please contact us to book an in home session.  A session runs for about 2 hours and is $275.

Home visits outside a 15km radius of Paddington may be subject to a travel fee. Zoom sessions also available.

From a happy fur mum…

I cannot recommend Doggi Daycare and Laura enough. We were referred by a friend and we are beyond grateful for that now.

We reached out to Laura just after our Golden Retriever turned 6 months and was displaying some challenging behaviours. We were lost because what we learnt at Puppy Preschool was no longer working.

Laura did an in home visit and gave us simple recommendations to implement. We noticed a significant change in Millie’s behaviour within just a few days. Millie attends Doggi daycare 2-3 times a week now and is the best version of herself. She is a much calmer, happier dog thanks to Laura’s recommendations. She gets structured play and ongoing training at Doggi. It brings us so much joy to see Millie so happy and relaxed.

Thank you Laura- we are so grateful we found you!
